1.  A lot of eyes were on Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski Monday night, as the U.S. Senate voted on dozens of amendments to the federal budget reconciliation package.

2.  The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather watch for Wednesday in response to a forecast of high temperatures, low humidity and winds that could fan the flames of wildfire.

3.  Multiple class action lawsuits recently filed in federal court claim a Fairbanks-based Alaska Native Corporation failed to protect personal data from a cyberattack.

4.  Experts are predicting that sockeye salmon in Bristol Bay this summer will be bigger and heavier than those in last year’s run.
